Job Title: General Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the effective running of Power FM & 5MU in the local Murraylands, South Coast, and Adelaide Hills market. As part of the Australian Radio Network, you will be responsible for driving sustained, profitable long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the market POAP aligned to company plans.
  • Manage market P&L to ensure revenue targets are achieved and the market is operating profitably.
  • Support national advertising initiatives to increase national revenue share.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of the market team, ensuring team goals are aligned to the POAP.
  • Create a great place to work by behaving in alignment with our Culture in Action.

Content and Promotions:

  • Work with programming to ensure local content is maximised and programming is well executed.
  • Drive a strong promotional calendar to ensure that the station relates to the community.

About You:

  • Managing a small-medium sized business, ideally within a radio and/or media business.
  • Experience building business plans and growing a business.
  • Broad understanding of the media landscape, including radio, audio, digital, and other competing media in local markets.
