Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our radio station in the Murray Bridge area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the effective running of Power FM & 5MU, driving sustained, profitable long-term growth and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities- Financial & Strategic: Develop and execute the market POAP aligned to company plans, manage market P&L to ensure revenue targets are achieved, and support national advertising initiatives to increase national revenue share.
- People: Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of the market team, ensuring team goals are aligned to the POAP, the right people are in the right roles with the right skills, and performance is effectively managed.
- Leaders in Local - Content & Promotions: Work with programming to ensure local content is maximised and programming is well executed, drive a strong promotional calendar to ensure the station relates to the community, and be an active and integrated member of the business community.
- Processes and Systems: Lead adoption of ARN company processes and systems, and ensure adherence to the Commercial Radio Code of Practice.
- You have experience managing a small-medium sized business, ideally within a radio and/or media business, or leading a functional team.
- You have a broad understanding of the media landscape, including radio, audio, digital, and other competing media in local markets.
- You have financial numeracy and an understanding of Profit & Loss statements and other basic financial concepts.
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
