Job Title: Agronomist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled agronomist to join our team in the Sunraysia region, Victoria.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agricultural science and technology, with a focus on aerobotics and quality management. They will work closely with farm managers, horticulturists, and agronomists to deploy drones and operate aerobotics platforms to survey horticultural crops.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Deploying and operating drones to survey horticultural crops
  • Collecting aerial imagery for detecting stress, disease, pest infestations, and nutrient deficiencies
  • Using aerobotics platforms or similar software to analyze data
  • Producing crop health reports with maps showing stressed or problematic zones and comparing aerial data with on-the-ground observations
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of software for data analysis and agricultural management
  • Generating actionable insights for farm managers and other key stakeholders
  • Supporting targeted interventions, reducing waste, and improving efficiency

  • A valid driver's license
