Job Overview:
- This is a pivotal leadership role within the finance team, providing financial acumen across extensive operations and playing a key role in delivering strategic growth and operational performance.
- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager Operations will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting across operations.
- Key responsibilities include delivering monthly management reporting and analysis, leading the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets with detailed commentary and variance analysis.
- Partnering with regional and operational managers to drive operational and financial performance, providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
- Enhancing financial controls, compliance and governance frameworks across operational sites and processes, supporting audit processes, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Driving improvements in reporting, forecasting and budgeting methodologies.
- CPA/CA qualification with superior experience within manufacturing/FMCG/agricultural environment.
- Previous experience business partnering operations teams, transformational zeal and flair for process improvement.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and corporate finance, familiarity with tax laws, audit standards and compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on commercial leader with ability to be 'in the detail', strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
