Job Opportunity in General Surgery

This 3-month contract is ideal for doctors aiming to build a competitive surgical training portfolio. You will be involved in general surgical cases, including exposure to robotic-assisted procedures and perioperative care.

You will participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects with The Australian National University.

Key Responsibilities
  • A current AHPRA registration and full Australian working rights.
  • PGY2+ with a strong interest in general surgery.
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic and professional development.
  • Prior research experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You must be well-organised, adaptable, and willing to learn.
  • Proven experience working in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment.
Requirements

The successful candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent time management, and ability to work under pressure. They should also have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
