Veterinary Surgical Resident Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated veterinary surgical resident to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading experts in the field and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of surgical procedures.

About the Position: This role involves participating in the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) training program under the guidance of experienced mentors. You will train and perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in rounds, M&M rounds, case discussions, and continuing education activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilise advanced surgical technology and equipment to provide cutting-edge surgical solutions.

Requirements:

  • A veterinary degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Completion of a rotating or surgical internship or equivalent experience.
  • Involvement in research and publications.
  • Intent to pursue advanced surgical training through the ECVS program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
