Job Opportunity

This role is for a skilled Preconstruction Estimator who will contribute to securing work with clients, meeting strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver detailed estimates for construction projects, meeting client requirements.
  • Prepare bid proposals by estimating costs, calculating scope of work, and soliciting vendor pricing.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings to determine project scope and necessary estimate content.
  • Negotiate purchase orders and subcontracts for awarded projects, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management personnel during pre-job meetings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of relevant construction estimating experience, preferably in general commercial building markets.
  • Bachelor degree preferred, ideal fields include construction management, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Proficiency using estimating software, including WinEst, On-Screen Takeoff, and Microsoft programs.
