Lifestyle Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality lifestyle programs that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community members to deliver engaging and meaningful activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement lifestyle programs based on individual needs and preferences;
  • Active participation in the delivery of activities;
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents;
  • Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement;
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities;
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers;
  • Facilitate community engagement opportunities;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and aged care quality standards;
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health;
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle assistant/coordinator position (or similar);
  • Previous experience in dementia care;
  • Experience using a computerized care management system (desirable);
  • Outstanding computer literacy skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
