Senior Construction Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Construction Health and Safety Specialist to join our client, a reputable private builder/developer specializing in residential and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct thorough site inspections, risk assessments, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Train staff on health and safety protocols and monitor their adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Investigate incidents, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive safety improvements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE role within the building and construction or related industry.
- Experience with the HSE accreditation process.
- AS/NZS4801 certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
