Senior Construction Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Health and Safety Specialist to join our client, a leading private builder/developer specialising in residential and industrial projects.
**Job Summary:**
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and clients.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and provide corrective action recommendations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Train staff and monitor compliance with safety regulations, ensuring all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe workplace.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and collaborate with the team to implement safety improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes, applying knowledge to inform policy decisions and training programs.
**Key Requirements:**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE role within the building and construction or related industry.
- Experience with the HSE accreditation process, including AS/NZS 4801.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
