Procurement Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will excel in category management, driving procurement strategies and optimising costs.

This role involves leading cross-functional collaboration with various teams to enhance procurement efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities
  • Category Management: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies across assigned categories.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to drive business growth through efficient procurement practices.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively assess and manage risks within supplier agreements and service contracts.
  • Spend & Supplier Management: Oversee spend under management, price lists, contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, and consumption tracking.
  • Supplier Optimisation: Implement initiatives to improve supplier performance and deliver cost and service efficiencies.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring procurement solutions align with business needs.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in procurement category management, indirect spend categories a bonus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive cost optimisation and improve supplier value.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience in governance, compliance, and risk management within procurement.
