Job Description

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and contribute to projects that reimagine the future of HSE management systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining HSE management system documents and tools, including policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, registers, and forms. They will ensure these are relevant and current, meeting evolving legislative, organisational, and market needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Create, update, and maintain HSE management system documents and tools.
  • Facilitate consultation processes and support operational teams to ensure systems are fit for purpose and embedded across the business.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
  • Work with the HSEMS project team to foster innovation in the design, development, and ongoing improvement of the HSE Management System.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need strong technical skills and knowledge in HSE management systems, particularly in complex operational environments. You should be a natural problem solver who brings energy and initiative to tasks, highly organised, and able to balance multiple priorities.

  • Strong understanding of HSE Management Systems and Standards (e.g., ISO).
  • Innovative approach to systems thinking combined with hands-on experience creating, editing, and managing documents within a HSE context.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect and engage with people across the business and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with document management software, Microsoft Office, and tools like OpenText, SharePoint, and TeamBinder.
