Job Description

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing a high volume of customer enquiries, conducting site inspections, and assisting in the setup of equipment for events as required. The role also involves administration duties, including sending contracts, following up payments, and correspondence related to bookings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all booking enquiries, providing clear information and follow-up through to resolution
  • Manage booking administration, including payments, fee waivers, bond releases, and access coordination
  • Facilitate site inspections for potential hirers
  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring timely and appropriate resolutions
  • Support the venue operations team in day-to-day activities, maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep
  • Monitor venue availability and negotiate bookings to maximise occupancy and revenue
  • Assist with event setup and pack-down of furniture and equipment as required
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of processes, policies, and procedures to maintain service quality
About the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an individual who can provide exceptional customer service and act as the initial point of contact for customers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to work autonomously, and take initiative. It is essential that you hold or are willing to obtain a Class C Driver's Licence.
