We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our Safety and Wellbeing Team on a full-time term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to an effective Injury Management System that meets legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Managing workers compensation claims to reduce the financial and human impact of work-related injury across the Department for Child Protection.
- Assisting in the implementation of injury management plans, programs, and strategies that align with the department's strategic priorities.
- Representing the department on legal and compensation matters within delegation of authority.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of injury management principles, and a strong understanding of the Return to Work Act 2014 legislation.
You will also be an innovative thinker with the ability to take initiative and formulate suitable management strategies. Experience in interpreting reports on return to work trends is highly desirable.
