Job Title: Banking Risk Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Credit and Risk team as a Banking Risk Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a customer-owned bank that prioritizes social and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage risk while implementing strategy for growth and sustainability.
- Provide oversight and advice on risk across the organization, including designing and maintaining the risk management framework.
- Support management and staff in building their understanding of risk and its application to their roles.
Requirements:
- Experience in risk management in the finance industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders internal and external.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to translate it into risk management processes.
