Institutional Banking Risk Specialist

As a Financial Crime Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding against financial crimes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position involves conducting comprehensive customer due diligence activities across the Group's customer base, focusing on Institutional Banking customers.
The team responsible for detecting, deterring and fighting financial crime is part of the first line of defence for financial crime related risks. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will specialise in institutional banking products and services, performing sophisticated financial crime analysis and uncovering suspicious activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting customer due diligence activities
- Performing advanced investigations
- Providing guidance and assistance to analysts
- Coaching peers to ensure quality and accuracy of investigative work
- Supporting the preparation and management of reporting requests

Key qualifications include:
- Experience within institutional banking and knowledge of corporate and institutional banking products and services
- At least 3 years' experience within Financial Crime or within institutional banking
- Investigative mindset and strong analytical skills
- Critical thinking and the ability to interpret information and make decisions
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills and experience managing relationships
