Disability Support Career

You will be responsible for delivering daily support to individuals with disabilities such as Autism and Intellectual Disability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing day-to-day services for people with a disability and their families and carers.
  • Assisting in coordinating, planning and executing Day Programs.
  • Communicating with individuals, families and other professionals to ensure appropriate support is being delivered.
  • Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care when participants are receiving more than one service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
  • Children's Level 2 First Aid with Anaphylaxis training.
  • DSC clearances - required by NDIS and Medicare.
  • National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training.
  • CPR, Full Driver's License.
