Are you a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? We are currently seeking a dedicated Female Disability Support Worker for an exciting opportunity working with a local Disability Support Organisation, supporting a Female NDIS participant in Casino NSW.

If you are a caring and culturally aware professional, this could be the perfect role for you Cultural competence and experience in working with Aboriginal communities is highly desirable, and training will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **personal care** to an older female participant
- Provide various support, including **daily living assistance, personal care and community access**, and ensure the comfort and wellbeing of the client
- Work with a **culturally sensitive approach**

**Role Requirements**:

- **Female** **Support Worker**:

- Experience or willingness to provide **personal care**:

- **Cultural competence,** particularly in working with Aboriginal communities, or a keen interest in learning (training will be provided)
- Ability to start **ASAP**:

- Ability to **commit to regular shifts** (Afternoon shifts are available Mon-Sun)

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)** or qualification
- Current **First Aid** and **CPR certification**:

- Valid **Working with Children Check**:

- Valid **NDIS Worker Screening Check**:

- Current **driver's license** and a **reliable vehicle**:

- Previous experience working with people with disabilities
- Understanding of the NDIS and person-centred practice
- **Cultural competence,** particularly in working with Aboriginal communities **(highly desirable)**:

- Experience or training in knowledge management systems **(desirable)**:

- **Contractor role**: You must have an ABN. Don't actively use an ABN yet? No problem, we'll get you started
- **Insurance**: Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance is

**Rate of pay**: Highly competitive rates offered:

- _Monday-Friday (Daytime 06:00 to 20:00) $48.48/hour_
- _Saturdays $68.22/hr_
- _Sundays $87.96/hrPublic Holidays $107.70/hr_
