The Membership Manager Role:

This key leadership position is responsible for taking overall management of the member experience. You'll lead a team of Member Support Consultants to achieve new sales targets and achieve member retention budgets, while overseeing front desk operations to ensure exceptional, personalised service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily workflow of the MSC team to ensure the club reaches monthly sales targets
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the team's success
  • Create a structure to ensure the MSC team achieves daily minimum performance criteria
  • Assist with the delivery of sales training to develop the MSC team
  • Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis
  • Ensure that enquiries are responded to within 24 hours
  • Support the Club and Regional Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth
  • Support the Club Manager in developing the MSC fortnightly roster

About You:

  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPIs
  • Understand the cycle of selling and various sales techniques, including up-selling and cross-selling
  • Have previous experience of managing the customer journey to achieve successful customer outcomes
  • Have previous experience of managing and mentoring a team
  • Be able to set and motivate others towards a goal
  • Have experience using business computer systems
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates
