About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Team Director to lead our Asset Finance team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a high-performing team culture, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a high-performing team culture by leading from the front and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to the team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lender partners to enhance lender relations and drive sales.
  • Ensure clear compliance and call quality frameworks are in place and adhered to at the highest level.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies and initiatives, including learning and development initiatives.
  • Provide daily customer insights and reporting to the Head of Asset Finance on team performance to ensure company objectives are met or exceeded.

Requirements

  • Proven background in sales, either as a team leader or second-in-command (2IC).
  • Commercial lending and asset finance expertise is highly desirable.
  • Passion for staff development and a genuine commitment to fostering employee growth and engagement within the team.
  • Proficient in Cloud SaaS Systems, including CRM platforms, dialer systems, or call recording tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent planning and organisational abilities.
  • Effective problem solver with a talent for resolving challenges efficiently.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to report on and analyse sales performance metrics effectively.
  • Proactive team player, ready to take the initiative while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
