Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team at a leading global manufacturing company.

About the Role

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity that will convert within your first few months. You will be responsible for providing scheduled preventative electrical maintenance, attending to breakdowns, and troubleshooting equipment faults.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preventative maintenance of pneumatic and semi-robotic machinery
  • Attending to breakdowns and performing repairs
  • Instrumentation knowledge (Digital/Analogue)
  • Testing, inspecting, and diagnosing plant equipment faults
  • Working on light to heavy production equipment
  • Fault finding PLC's and Scada systems
  • Machine installations, upgrades, and commissioning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Australian Electrical Trade qualification/License
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in Manufacturing and FMCG Industries
  • Team player with full Australian work Rights
  • Capable of passing pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
