Salary: $65,956.84 - $78,817.29 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Westmead Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing quality dispensing, manufacturing and other supportive pharmaceutical services to patients in an inpatient, outpatient and community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmacy support services to patients, including dispensing, manufacturing and sterile manufacturing;
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care;
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports;
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Pharmacy Technology or related field;
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
