About the Role

The Head of Finance will be responsible for leading our finance team in overseeing all financial and management accounting operations. This includes managing the budgeting process, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing comprehensive financial reports, and maintaining healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small, dedicated finance team in overseeing all financial and management accounting operations
  • Manage the budgeting process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and ensure efficient cash flow management
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and provide detailed financial insights and analysis to senior leadership and program managers
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or similar professional qualification
  • Extensive experience in finance, including leadership roles within a finance team
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the NFP sector
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
