Student Placement Opportunity

We invite students to join us and support individuals affected by alcohol and other drugs.

This is an excellent chance for students to gain hands-on experience in the AOD field while making a positive impact on people's lives.

We are committed to helping clients overcome trauma and mental health issues, develop new skills, and improve their overall well-being.

As a student placement, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learn from them, and contribute your skills and knowledge to the team.

Our services include withdrawal services, one-on-one assessment and treatment, group therapy, residential rehabilitation, and education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to achieve their goals and address underlying trauma and mental health issues
  • Develop new skills to improve all aspects of client lives
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver coordinated support
  • Use Client Management Systems and write case notes

Requirements:

  • Certificate 4 or higher in relevant fields (e.g., mental health, community services, AOD)
  • Strong interest in AOD or related fields
  • People-focused and emotionally resilient
  • Willingness to learn through critical self-reflection
  • Full COVID vaccination and criminal check
  • Insurance coverage provided by educational institution
