Community Support Worker

As a Community Support Worker, you will provide comprehensive support and advocacy to individuals grappling with Alcohol and Other Drugs (AoD) issues. You will engage in case management and coordination to help clients address challenges and achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered case management and review progression against individualized plans">
  • Deliver treatment interventions through counseling, care coordination, and education sessions">
  • Work with clients to create holistic support plans and facilitate AOD education sessions within the community">
  • Respond to referrals of clients from other services or direct client contact">

Requirements for Success:

  • ">
  • Relevant degree or diploma in social work or a related field">
  • At least 2 years' experience working with mental health and/or AOD programs">
  • Understanding of substance abuse disorder and/or mental illness">
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills">
