Job Title: Spiritual Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide quality spiritual care to residents, their families and our team. As Spiritual Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting the Spiritual Care team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing effective spiritual care strategies that centre on individual resident needs and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Spiritual Care team to provide quality spiritual care.
  • Ensure spiritual care is tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to spirituality, including activities, services, and rituals.
  • Support residents in preparing for end-of-life by reflecting on their life, contribution, worth, and legacy.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Pastoral Care, Chaplaincy, or Ministry.
  • Experience in Pastoral ministry and/or Chaplaincy.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate spiritual care support and approaches with diverse groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with people from various backgrounds.
  • Experience working with elderly communities, preferably in healthcare or aged care settings.
