Key Responsibilities

The Delivery Team Lead oversees a team of at least 8 direct reports, ensuring efficient project delivery and growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic leadership to the team.
  • Developing, implementing & embedding key processes for seamless project execution.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Establishing a technical documentation approach for optimal knowledge sharing and efficiency.
  • Ensuring the security and data protection of all project platforms.
  • Serving as a central point of contact for work requests and facilitating solution analysis.
  • Leading delivery planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing resources effectively.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their technical skills and promote collaboration.
  • Developing team workforce planning strategies to drive business success.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency enhancements.

Requirements

  • Experience in people leadership, process improvement, Software Delivery Lifecycle, stakeholder engagement and support, initiative prioritisation.
  • Skills: Understanding of different delivery methodologies, ability to adapt to business context, Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, Strong time management, organisational and prioritisation skills, High level of attention to detail and analytical capability, Proactive, empathetic people leadership, Work Prioritisation and Resource planning, Delivery Lifecycle experience which includes Requirement Analysis, Solution Designing, Development, Testing and Deployment.
  • Desirable skills and experience: Project Management skills, Agile Delivery, Scrum Master Certification (e.g. CSM), Process Improvement (e.g. Lean or Six Sigma), Experience with delivery of change on SaaS platforms, Experience with vendor and contract management, Portfolio Planning, SaaS Cost Governance, Sprint & Release Management.
