Mechanical Engineer - A Career Opportunity in Engineering and Technology

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, providing expertise in designing and developing mechanical systems for industrial applications. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Analyzing current product designs to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to increase manufacturability, reduce costs, and enhance functionality.
  • Liaising with customers to ensure that their requirements for new products are met and approval is received.
  • Collaborating closely with electrical design teams, production, customers, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and timely release of new products and product changes to production.
  • Managing and reviewing design documentation for release to production, ensuring that requested changes to existing products are adequately documented and implemented in accordance with company procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, with at least five years of experience in design and manufacturing of mechanical equipment. They will also possess working knowledge of materials, finishing processes, and fabrication/assembly processes, as well as experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks 3D design software.
