This intermediate-level mechanical design role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new build education project. Under the guidance of a seasoned senior engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the technical design.

A reputable HVAC contractor has a pipeline of new projects, providing long-term work opportunities and chances to develop your skills further.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical design for large-scale commercial and healthcare projects
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with local and national building codes and standards related to HVAC
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years Australian experience in HVAC design, preferably in large-scale commercial and healthcare D&C projects
  • Experience with various HVAC systems, including chilled water infrastructure design
  • Strong understanding of mechanical services design, load calculations, and energy-efficient design practices
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and CAMEL; Revit is beneficial but not required
