We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the technical design of a new build education/healthcare project.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3+ years of experience in HVAC design, specifically in large-scale commercial/healthcare projects. Strong understanding of mechanical services design, load calculations, and energy-efficient design practices is essential. Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and CAMEL is required, with Revit being beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the technical design of the project, working under the guidance of an experienced senior engineer.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of local and national building codes and standards related to HVAC.
  • Collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years Australian experience in HVAC design, specifically in large-scale commercial/healthcare projects.
