Job Title: Insurance Manager
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients on their existing insurance programs and provide assistance with their queries.
- Communicate effectively with insurers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolution of queries.
- Prepare and process renewal declarations, reports, quotations, insurance manuals, certificates of currency, new business reports and quotations.
- Calculate and process adjustment premiums to policies.
- Assist with claims management and reporting under the guidance of senior team members and the claims department.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Presentation skills and confidence when interacting with senior clients on behalf of the organization.
- The ability to drive change and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills for building relationships and communicating with clients, the team, and senior management.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Tier 2 General Insurance experience, working towards Tier 1 Insurance Broking certification.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the insurance/broking industry.
- Understanding of invoicing procedures and file management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Familiarity with broking software such as WinBEAT is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Industrial Special Risks (ISR) insurance is desirable.
