About the Role

The Risk and Insurance Officer will administer insurance portfolios, manage complex claims, and support the development of an integrated Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

  • Relevant Business Administration qualifications or relevant experience
  • Knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to councils in risk management activities
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a complex insurance portfolio
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise work to meet requirements and objectives
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite of applications
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Class C drivers licence
