Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Compliance Specialist, supporting compliance obligations for a leading superannuation provider.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments, providing feedback and sign-off to teams responsible for fund services.
  • Review internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation including the SIS Act and broader financial services regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex regulatory issues across superannuation and financial services law.
  • Assist in identifying, managing, and assessing the impact of regulatory changes on business operations.
  • Monitor legislative developments through Parliament and track associated regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely responses to regulatory updates and maintain compliance across business processes.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in incident analysis and remediation, preferably within the superannuation and/or insurance claims domain.
  • Deep understanding of industry processes, particularly insurance within super funds.
  • Solid working knowledge of SIS Act and SIS Regulations relevant to member remediation and incident handling.
  • Experience managing third-party providers and holding them accountable for service performance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
