Job Title: Strategic Supply Chain Coordinator

The Role:

  • Develop and execute supply strategic plans to meet business objectives, focusing on volumes, specifications, quality, assured supply, regional risk management, and distribution strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate product sourcing and procurement activities to achieve category DIFOT targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine cost-effective distribution solutions for customers.
  • Monitor stock levels internally to ensure rotation and maintain product quality.
  • Research and recommend new or potential product lines or extensions that align with business goals.
  • Support the New Product Development team in identifying suitable products and ensuring successful launches.
  • Manage relationships with seed/breeding companies and nurseries to provide technical support to growers and approved nurseries.
  • E nsure efficient allocation and weekly balancing of returnable packaging.

This position is responsible for driving business growth through effective supply chain management. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and execute strategies that meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the fresh produce industry, with a strong understanding of business planning and execution capabilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. A self-starter with a team player attitude, proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, is required.
