Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supply Chain Specialist to execute and monitor strategic plans for supply volumes, specifications, quality, assured supply, regional risk management, and distribution logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of products to meet category demand.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure stable supply agreements.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure rotation and product quality.
  • Support the New Product Development team in identifying suitable products and ensuring successful launches.
  • Engage with key suppliers to improve quality on farm and Grown in Full on Time with Quality (GIFOTQ).

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role in fresh produce is essential.
  • Solid experience dealing and maintaining relationships with 3rd party growers.
  • Business planning skills and execution capabilities to deliver customer expectations and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter who is a team player; pro-active, persuasive, and flexible attitude.
  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture, horticulture, or related discipline; preferred but not required.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
