Project Scheduler Lead Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Scheduler Lead to join our team and contribute to the success of our large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for site erection.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets stay within scope.
  • Understand and follow global project scheduling and site scheduling directives.
  • Provide clear status of all related interfaces and activities.
  • Identify deviations from schedule, notify relevant stakeholders, and propose mitigation measures.
  • Act as key strategic partner to Field Supervisors, Site Production Managers, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Civil or Mechanical)
  • Project Management degree (MBA, P. Eng. or similar)
  • HSE and Quality Mindset
  • 10+ years in senior scheduling/planning, including 5+ years as lead scheduler in large hydro power or similar construction projects
  • Solid technical and operational knowledge of hydro-power equipment installation and commissioning
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and Power BI
