Catering Supervisor Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee food production, customer service and team management in a fast-paced retail outlet.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong focus on food safety, and the ability to maintain effective relationships with customers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor food production to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Operate the till and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve espresso coffee to a high standard.
  • Maintain effective customer and client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by maintaining focus on Food and People safety.

Requirements:

  • Current Blue Card or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Must hold a current RSA certificate or be willing to obtain it.
  • Strong Barista skills with the ability to operate equipment efficiently.
  • Experience with Flexiorders is highly regarded.
  • Leadership experience in a similar role, managing a team and delivering exceptional food service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and clients.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in using relevant software systems.
  • Understanding of allergen management and food safety principles.
