About This Role

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Manager to join their dedicated team.

This hands-on role requires a self-motivated individual who can lead a team, provide outstanding efficient, safe, and memorable guest service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, WH&S, and service standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with the leadership team to manage rosters, inventory, and ordering
  • Supporting the team in driving revenue and profit
  • Supervising core service duties such as food and coffee service, opening, and closing of outlets
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous Food & Beverage supervisory experience and knowledge of cash control, food service, food safety, general WHS requirements, and complaint handling
  • Experience in team training and writing SOPs to ensure best customer service
  • Experience in Conference/Event service, including weddings, highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a flexible, cooperative attitude
  • A willingness to work in an outdoor environment, in all weathers, and walk substantial distances in a workplace containing animals
  • Holding current Queensland RSA, Barista skills, and Food Safety Certificate
  • Flexibility to work across weekends
