The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 400 Ha grazing property in the Southern Highlands, NSW. The property runs a commercial Angus enterprise and has established new developments in regenerative agriculture principles and carbon farming initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to animal husbandry and WHS best practice
  • Manage animal health, nutrition, stockfeeding and water monitoring
  • Operate and maintain all farm plant and equipment
  • Pasture improvement and management
  • Input into farm planning, budgeting and staff/contractor management processes
  • Maintenance of all farm infrastructure

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience in managing livestock operations. They will be committed to regenerative agriculture principles and carbon farming initiatives.
