About This Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead our service as a full-time permanent site manager.

  • The role requires proven leadership experience in the disability sector and proficiency in Auslan (Sign language).
  • You will be responsible for guiding and supporting clients, mentoring support workers, promoting a person-centered approach and giving clients choice and control over their lives.
  • The position involves overseeing the effective management and daily operations of accommodation services, fostering a positive environment and maintaining an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued and safe.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and support clients, mentor support workers, highlighting the value of consistency and professional boundaries.
  • Promote a person-centered, active support approach, giving our clients choice and control over their lives.
  • Oversee the effective management and daily operations of accommodation services.
  • Foster a positive environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued and safe.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Social Services or a relevant domain such as Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental Health and Community Services.
  • Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the National Standards for Disability Services.
  • A NSW Drivers License, Current First Aid and CPR certification, and NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
