About This Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive Risk Manager to join our Governance and Risk Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This role involves managing risk and embedding processes to drive successful risk management across the business. You will work closely with Project Managers and Functional Leads to identify and mitigate risks, as well as coordinate meetings and briefings with key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and updating risk assessments, and working with the business to identify and address risks where controls are inadequate. Additionally, you will provide advice to Executive Leaders on matters of risk management and escalate areas of concern as required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in risk management, particularly in implementing and operating Risk Management Frameworks within the infrastructure or resource sectors.

You will also possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
