Sustainable Equipment Technician
We are dedicated to creating a world where waste is minimized and natural resources preserved. Our technology enables the collection of used drink containers, ensuring they have the best chance of being recycled.
As an essential member of our team, you will work towards a sustainable future by maintaining, servicing and repairing our pioneering equipment installations.
The role involves servicing and maintaining installed equipment, including conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile comms, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and servicing reverse vending machine (RVM) installations and bulk processing equipment.
- Repairing faulty equipment and reporting on service assignments.
- Installing kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites, providing excellent customer service.
- Analyzing product performance and reporting to the local service team.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Trade Certificate III in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Previous experience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunications.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record.
Working Conditions">
This is a highly autonomous position, suitable for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently. Driving between locations is a significant part of the role, requiring a clean driving record and a love for being on the road.
