Job Overview

Sustain Environmental Performance as an Environmental Compliance Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and oversee environmental databases, registers, licenses, and documentation to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance and regulatory breaches, minimizing adverse impacts on the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to site teams on best practices and opportunities for improvement in environmental performance.
  • Lead internal environmental committees and reporting cycles, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, fostering a collaborative environment for effective compliance and cooperation.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree in Marine Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management is highly desirable.
  • Substantial experience navigating complex environmental legislation and compliance frameworks is essential.
  • Proven success in implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) that drive continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Demonstrated analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and influence diverse teams.
