Senior Traffic Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our traffic management operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex infrastructure projects and ensuring the safety of motorists.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of traffic regulations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of traffic management, from developing strategic plans to coordinating with stakeholders and enforcing compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth project delivery.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee adherence to traffic regulations and maintain high standards of safety.

  • Lead and manage traffic control teams, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic management, with a focus on major infrastructure projects.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, traffic management, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and standards in Victoria.

  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
