Senior Project Engineer

This role requires a skilled and experienced project engineer to lead traffic management projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage local subcontractors and suppliers ensuring performance outcomes;
  • Plan, coordinate and implement traffic switches, road access and stakeholder arrangements;
  • Develop and implement traffic management plans in accordance with standards;
  • Communicate with councils and stakeholders to deploy project changes;
  • Prepare comprehensive reports including cost management, progress analysis and recommendations;
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers;
  • Manage procurement, resources and budgets within the traffic scope;
  • Ensure quality management, documentation and compliance with Victorian standards.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in traffic management and engineering;
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • Ability to develop and implement plans and strategies;
  • Knowledge of VicRoads and DoT Victoria standards;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
