The Role

As a Personal Care Worker in Aged Care, you will provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities centered around their wellbeing, independence, interests, and choices.

  • Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling.
  • Assistance at mealtimes as required by the resident, such as food and drink preparation and feeding if necessary.
  • Encouraging engagement in various social activities.
  • Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting, dressing, grooming, and oral care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in aged care roles highly regarded. Understanding of person-centred care essential.

  • Strong, clear verbal and written English skills.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Willingness to take direction and follow instructions/compliance.
  • A confident, friendly, and professional approach to team and residents.
