Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

  • The successful candidate will have experience of working with people with disabilities, challenging behaviors, and complex physical disabilities.
  • They will also possess an in-depth understanding of person-centred thinking and be able to demonstrate how they put that into practice in their work.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand the vulnerabilities and needs of people with disability and the issues faced by their families.

The role requires access to a vehicle for work purposes and flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster. We are looking for someone who is committed to the welfare, rights, and personal development of people with disabilities.

Requirements
  • A cover letter and resume are required.
  • Certification in Disability or Individual Support would be highly regarded.
  • A current First Aid certificate is also a necessity.
  • Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia must be provided.
  • A certified copy of your current passport is mandatory.
  • A Working with Children Check (WWCC) may be required for some positions.
  • A current driver's license is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will undergo an NDIS Worker Screen Check and Police Check. They will need to be willing to commit to a minimum of 4-5 hours per day from Monday to Friday. Additionally, the role requires willingness to participate in client-led activities such as hiking.
