The Operations Manager role is available at our key fuel distribution site for Victoria, servicing up to 5 major customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Main contact for changes to day-to-day customer requirements
  • Execution of contractual KPIs and obligations while optimising production/operational outputs
  • Contributing to the development of innovative operational systems, processes, and standards across business portfolios
  • Planning operational and workforce changes on a daily and weekly basis to achieve annual targets and sustainability in safety, environmental performance, and customer service

You will lead by example, ensuring high standards of safety, environmental performance, and customer service. To succeed, you need:

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and fatigue management for the Transport industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and curiosity about customers' needs
  • Skill in personnel and operational requirements, relating to training and compliance
  • Sound incident management/investigation skills to determine root cause and implement corrective actions
  • Leadership experience with minimum 2 years in a managerial or senior operations role, demonstrating team leadership and decision-making capabilities
