Research Fellow Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our team in the field of seed science. As a key member of our research group, you will play a critical role in developing and expanding our research programs in conservation and restoration native species seed science.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time fixed-term appointment for 2 years.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for laboratory, field, and glasshouse programs, particularly in relation to developing effective industry and First Nations programs in conservation and restoration seed science.

About You:

  • You must have a recognised doctoral degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • You should have demonstrated experience in successfully undertaking research in the fields of conservation and/or restoration science as it relates to seed ecology and seed science of wild species.
  • You will be required to contribute and participate in a collegial and supportive working environment, interact with students and staff with cross-cultural sensitivity, and work cooperatively and productively in multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent record in research, supported by peer-reviewed grants and publications at a level commensurate with the position.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
