We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Early Career Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of eDNA science. Our goal is to transform how we observe and protect marine ecosystems.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with large-scale analysis of pre-existing and new eDNA metabarcoding datasets obtained in Australian coastal waters. You will co-develop innovative computational tools and indices for detecting early signals of marine ecosystem change.

About the OpportunityClosely working with our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting large-scale analysis of complex ecological or biodiversity datasets. Your strong proficiency in statistical modelling and programming skills in R, Python, or similar will enable you to lead the analysis and publication of research outcomes in high-quality publications.
With a focus on driving innovation and impactful research, you will have the freedom to pursue your interests and passions in the field of eDNA science.
What We're Looking For- A doctorate in a relevant discipline area, such as ecology, computational biology, or bioinformatics.
- Experience in analysing large, complex ecological or biodiversity datasets.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modelling and programming skills in R, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments for large-scale data analysis.
